It provides a number of requirements which an organization needs to fullfill if it is to achieve customer satisfaction through consistent products and services which meet customer expectations. This is the only implementation for which third-party auditors may grant certifications.

UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service)

The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.
Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates the competence, impartiality and performance capability of these evaluators. UKAS is a non-profit-distributing company, limited by guarantee, and operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government through the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.

OHSAS 18000 Certificate

OHSAS 18000 is an international occupational health and safety management system specification. It comprises two parts, 18001 and 18002 and embraces BS8800 and a number of other publications.

OHSAS was formed in January 2001 through a merger of NHSOccupational Health and Safety Services of Fife and Tayside. The merger gave OHSAS autonomy while allowing it to remain within the structure of the NHS. OHSAS maintains the highest professional and ethical standards and constantly aims to fully meet the needs of all its customers.
